We’ve probably gone a bit younger than initially planned, but older talent was lost in a few runs between our picks. Maybe some trade bait towards the back end of the season

For the 3rd straight season we've finished the regular season on top of the Upton ladder (first in @KeeperAFL though)

A few injury concerns, but thankfully we have the depth to still perform most weeks.

A bye next week, then back at it against the winner of Cheezels v Funk.

Our league only has 8 pickups allowed for the season, and I’m worried I’m going to have to “nanny” some of the more eager coaches before Round 9 if it’s not clearly visible to them! 🤣

Round 3 Update
Another solid win to send the PSN from the Top 5 down to 9th.

Only played 3 of the bottom 4 teams, but doing what we need to do so far this season and sitting as the only undefeated team, with a hearty percentage.

@DualPremiers We discussed this at the AGM this year.

We used same settings in 2024, bringing waivers opening forward to the start of the year to allow for early byes.

If the AFL ditches OR & goes back to normal, we would revert back to Round 6 waivers and the reverse in-season ladder.

@DualPremiers @KeeperAFL Our waivers were set up to reflect reverse ladder order from last year initially and Rolling List after that.

No team has current made a waiver claim.

We have waivers set to process at 6pm WST, so we should see the results in just over 4 hours time.

In 2016, our premiership defence started with a 3-7 loss to @DualPremiers .

Pleasing to reverse that result this year, despite Daniels, Howe and Lohmann all copping the red vest.

We join the Upton finals action this week against the Funk, who we comfortably took care of (10-1) a fortnight ago - despite resting Warner, Ash, Wanganeen-Milera, N.Martin, Durham & C.Macdonald.

Two weeks is bloody long time in footy though and finals are a different beast.
