@helloPeabody @Hackmuth You can tell me how I get help with a property issue. We have had water coming into our flat for 10 years and your well trained and polite staff offer platitudes and no action. The insurance survey this week says the walls and ceilings are so wet it will take 6 to 8 weeks to dry.
@Hackmuth @PeabodySales Sadly leaseholders have no point of contact and seemingly no rights in Peabody. Our purchase had been disastrous and very expensive and stressful.
@Hackmuth @helloPeabody We bought our flat. That was a huge mistake, we were under the illusion that being leaseholders in a big organisation would be safe. We cannot sell the flat, we are trapped by running water snd hostile neighbours who are Peabody tenants.
@Hackmuth @helloPeabody I am determined to get Peabody to respond. We have absolutely no rights as leaseholders and are sitting in a flat that has no resale value at all. We must be able to get help from someone! Surely?
@helloPeabody We did not have a great weekend because once again the flat above us left the taps running and we are once again dealing with water ingress. No one bothers to reply. No one is interested as we are leaseholders and have few if any rights.
@PeabodyLDN how do@I make contact with someone in authority to discuss my 10 years of water ingress into my leases hold flat from your tenants above me? #wateringress#leadeholders #
@Vicky_McClure @alzheimerssoc You are right to go on raising awareness about dementia as it has fallen on deaf parliamentary ears for many years. An MP who was keen to raise awareness told us that a petition can be seen as one letter signed by many. He said get everyone to write to their MP individually
@Tom_Grennan It makes me profoundly depressed to hear people say there is no help. There should be lots of help. What are the Alzheimerโs Society doing for them? Why are they so low profile?
@Vicky_McClure @OurDemChoir@Tom_Grennan A great programme promoting a messsge that someone must hear. Sadly successive governments ignore the plight of people with dementia and their carers. It is so disheartening. Same year in, year out.
@Tom_Grennan @Vicky_McClure At last you have asked Why is the Alzheimerโs Society not actively promoting help for people with dementia. Music has been known for years to help stimulate the memory. Song is the first sound that every race in the world hears.
