@OSVNews Excellent news!!!

[GrannyatHome @GrannyatH]

@statesman Great idea! But I think here in the RGV, businesses would go broke. Deep South Texas is showing up.

[GrannyatHome @GrannyatH]

@CapelJacqueline @Suzierizzo1 Yup! A pendulum swings almost equal distance in both directions.

[GrannyatHome @GrannyatH]

@BexWords @Suzierizzo1 Please cast your vote first.

[GrannyatHome @GrannyatH]

@RJR1225 @Suzierizzo1 @DianeMcKenna22 I had no problems in Texas yesterday. You enter your choices, then get a readable printout of your vote. That’s then fed into a machine right before you leave.

But I agree that bi-partisan hand counts would probably be safer.

Trump ran on cutting taxes.

But once tariffs are counted, his policies are raising taxes and costs this year for every income group except the richest 1%, per a new report from the Institute on Taxation and Economic Policy.

The reason: tariffs, which are largely passed on to consumers as higher prices, outweigh the tax cuts for most Americans.

Even the right-leaning Tax Foundation calls the tariffs the largest U.S. tax increase as a share of GDP since 1993.

@atrupar His time is over. It’s just a matter of how we deal with the remainder of his term in office. It’s too much to expect more than damage control.

[GrannyatHome @GrannyatH]

@soapcentral NO!

[GrannyatHome @GrannyatH]

@ricrivas20 @bjrottinghaus Hidalgo too, I think. Line was so long yesterday, I got there at 6:45 this morning and was #16 in line. Home at 7:20. South TX is just done.

[GrannyatHome @GrannyatH]

@ChrisWickNews It isn’t. Vote!

[GrannyatHome @GrannyatH]

@soapcentral She seems to have put her work behind her right now, but for how long? Sonny’s sharp. He can handle it.

[GrannyatHome @GrannyatH]

@joe_jo9 Very long lines in McAllen

[GrannyatHome @GrannyatH]

@darrenjdahlberg Great!

[GrannyatHome @GrannyatH]

@darrenjdahlberg Time to clean house… and senate, etc etc. lines here were so long I came back home and will set an alarm to go early tomorrow. A lot of people crossing party lines. Common sense approach for sure. 👍
