SMU is just 3-for-7 on field goals, and QB Kevin Jennings said Lashlee told the team, “If you want to play special teams, text my phone.” Lashlee later admitted, “We’re not very good right now.”

Sources say Lashlee received 46 texts within the hour, including three from his current kickers asking if they could try out again.

“Fuck it,” Lashlee reportedly told staff. “Put my number on the Jumbotron Saturday. Somebody in that stadium has to be able to kick.”

REPORT: Baylor announced Thursday that McLane Stadium will be transformed into a Topgolf Live venue from Oct. 29 through Nov. 1.

The event will feature up to 22 hitting bays inside the stadium, allowing fans to hit golf balls toward interactive targets placed throughout the football field.

Baylor will even host a Friday night watch party inside McLane Stadium while the Bears play UCF on the road.

School officials reportedly chose that weekend so fans could finally watch people consistently drive the ball to the end zone at McLane Stadium.
