Well, the books have finally arrived, and look very professional even if I say it myself! Great Stocking-filler and each book will pay for 8 vaccines in resource-poor settings. All proceeds go directly to VaccinAID. Please do have a look: https://t.co/6rmtnKHYJv
I am a doctor working with COVID in Scotland. When I got my booster, I felt guilty about the worldwide inequity. So together with colleagues, we have printed a book we are selling in aid of #GiveTheWorldAShot It’s called Smile with your Eyes https://t.co/6rmtnKHYJv
@rabpeel The Tsunami is about to crash about our ears, but I am very very proud of our NHS, Highland and elsewhere. Long days by many people have transformed this organisation into something that is completely focused on one objective: Getting through the months ahead as well as we can.
@dundeesportsmed@DrGregorSmith@NHSHighland@Derick_Macleod@Highlandhospice Welcome, Gregor. Any friend of Niall’s is a friend of mine! Hope you get the chance to see the many excellent sides of NHSH rather than just having to deal with any current and perceived problems. Feel free to visit the Acute Medicine Unit in Raigmore any time!
@johnbrucewalla1 Agreed. It’s much simpler in hospital which is where the guideline is targeted. However, NEWS 5 is still relatively unusual in general practice and is still a useful trigger to think whether early treatment is appropriate.
