⏪ You missed a layup.
⏪ You turned the ball over.
⏪ The ref blew the call.
Guess what? It’s over. It’s in the past. It’s unchangeable.
And every ounce of mental, physical, or emotional energy you waste on what’s behind you is energy you don’t have for the only thing that matters — the present moment.
That’s why the best don’t dwell. They move to the NEXT PLAY.

@kendrick_t7 Of course athletes in HS can still have jobs. But it needs to be set up with full transparency to prevent larger issues from arising. Regarding HS athletes: most companies require anyone under 18 to have parental consent/signature before starting employment. I gotta go to work.
@TomMarsLaw@TomMarsLaw Tom, you make a great point, it’s absurd that so many NIL cases that go back to June are currently still pending. The text that was shared does a good job highlighting the confusion/lack of transparency around how the NIL stuff is handled in college sports. @JayBilas
@anthonyraia_@kendrick_t7@TomMarsLaw@JayBilas So, following the end of the contract, she packed up, came back home and was on to the next opportunity. I’m not sure why the whole NIL for athletes wouldn’t be done in that same fashion. Either way, it looks like the athlete needs help based on the text. @JayBilas
