@xondeyaa@AAsandwich43@aoneNatwo2 Actually, it's a play on the source of "Abra cadabra" which roughly means "Let the thing be destroyed" in Aramaic. I think it's pretty neat tbh

@ITI__ii In the show right now, do you see how Helaena could kill herself? Do you think the people of KL would riot on her behalf?
I think I side with the author when he says what is and isn’t important
@vexedvaati@D4hz4hn Considering Freeze was being pissy about making a cure for that potentially hundreds of Gotham citizens may have needed, I’d say Batman was justified in being an asshole
@D4hz4hn >Saves hostages and medical personnel throughout all of Asylum
>Takes a bullet for Gordon
>Continues saving political prisoners in City
>Deals with Riddler’s bullshit to save more hostages
>saves Nora for Freeze
>would’ve spared Joker and Strange
@SDYeet Did you rush through the main story? I feel like the side quests are where the dystopian elements really come in to play (i.e. the Jesus reenactment, the couple that's getting brainwashed)
@LordFleaBottom_@maekarwife No one is arguing that you can adapt F&B 1-1 into a show or that you can't add dialogue or scenes, GoT did that well in the beginning. The fact that the show isn't including famous lines and is changing key events and motivations from F&B is what rightfully deserves criticism.
@LordFleaBottom_@maekarwife Oh dang, I forgot that there was a worse version of the quote in an episode that aired over two years ago, I take back all of my criticisms
@LordFleaBottom_@maekarwife "Daemon gave us these cloaks..., and they’re gold no matter how you turn them"
"Seven save this realm if we seat a bastard on the Iron Throne."
"Only you could have won me away from the sea. I came back from the ends of the earth for you."
@LordFleaBottom_@maekarwife And here's some quotes that didn't make it into the show:
"Thrones are won with swords, not quills. Spill blood, not ink."
"Tell my half-brother that I will have my throne, or I will have his head"
"You only lost one eye. How could you be so blind?"
