As part of our project on Dinosaurs, we have planted a ‘Herbivore Garden’ outside today.
We added Basil, Coriander, Parsley, Lavender and Rosemary with some lovely Spring Flowers @GrasmereAcademy
In Science we tested whether we could make an egg into a bouncy ball. It definitely didn’t work at first but I don’t think the children minded by the looks on their faces ☺️
We have been learning all about plants this week. Reception enjoyed our investigation station. We used all of our senses and dissected different flowers to find the different parts. We learnt and used lots of new vocabulary! 💐
We had lots of fun in Forest school this morning.
We used our cartons to collect 10 special pieces of Natural Treasure. We found some lovely leaves, flowers, berries and Feathers @GrasmereAcademy
When learning about Weather, it is impossible not to take the opportunity to go and run in the fog this morning! “The grass is wet but its not raining!” @GrasmereAcademy
We have started our Science project for this half term. We have started it off by looking at ‘The Tiny Seed’ story and explored how our seeds travelled outside in the wind 🌸🍁 @GrasmereAcademy
We had a wonderfully spooky time in Forest school this morning. We explored the Witches shed, flew on her brooms and found the dropped items from ‘The Room on the Broom’ story
