9/ The facts are clear, and the President’s actions have not been justified. When a President reaches to outside powers to maintain his power, and defies the procedures laid out in our Constitution, it is our belief that he has committed high crimes and misdemeanors.
8/ The President not only refused to cooperate, but directed numerous witnesses not to appear. It is highly concerning that so many individuals close to the Executive Branch have enabled this effort to undermine our democratic institutions.
7/ The second article states that the President obstructed Congress. The House of Representatives has the sole right to conduct an impeachment inquiry.
6/ the President withheld funds, allocated by Congress in the interests of our national security, until a foreign government conceded to his will to investigate a political rival. We offer our thanks to those individuals.
