a post in the @berachain governance forum was recently made by @MEADGod in which he discusses the issue of the inefficient emissions (basically the senile validators who dont actively manage their cutting boards) which hurts the eco as well as the reveneus of swBERA and BGT

his proposed solution is to give validator positions to engaged and active teams within the eco and remove the sleepy ones.

I strongly agree with the direction of this proposal. I left a comment with some my thoughts here:

TLDR of my thoughts:
1) dont think it would be fair to kick out the sleepy vals from active set, and prob illegal. however lets empower teams that will be engaged via foundation delegation to them
2) these changes will increase swBERA and BGT yields, which is obviously good for BERA and the whole eco. no brianer.
3) @berachain is unique cos validators can express some subjectivity in directing emissions and create novel incentive systems - lets lean into that
