Im pretty sure that as someone who wanted peace since he was a child he could not come up with a better solution. Izanami might not even affect him. He saw no hope in the world. It cycled.

@amineorbit8 Shikamaru would double his IQ but I believe Minato would use the reduced reaction time / more felt time to react the best. Lee also can profit from it as his attacks can become more focussed. But shikamaru would use genjutsu the best and with shadow pos its jail.
