BREAKING: Justice is finally served as a federal jury orders the January 6th insurrectionist who assaulted a police officer who died by suicide nine days later to pay out $500,000 to his widow and estate.
Trump may have pardoned these monsters, but not all of them are getting off scot-free...
David Walls-Kaufman, the traitor in question, has been ordered to pay $380,000 in punitive damages as well as $60,000 in compensatory damages to Erin Smith, the widow of the late Officer Jeffrey Smith. On top of that, the violent MAGA offender must pay $60,000 to the Smith's estate as compensation for the profound pain and suffering he has caused.
The jury found Walls-Kaufman liable for assaulting Officer Smith, an unsurprising outcome since the attack was captured on Smith's body cam. He previously pleaded guilty to a misdemeanor tied to the insurrection, served 60 days in prison, and was ultimately pardoned by Trump.
Erin Smith has asserted that Walls-Kaufman took control of her husband's police baton and struck him brutally on the head with it, inflicting a concussion that resulted in psychological and physical trauma that eventually resulted in Officer Smith taking his own life. Prior to the violent incident, he had no history of mental health problems.
Walls-Kaufman still denies the assault, despite it being captured on video, and claims that "no crime happened."
And why would a man like this admit fault and take responsibility for his actions? His cult leader signed a mass pardon signaling that the actions of the January 6th traitors were justified. Given the chance to do it all again, most of these insurrectionists would.
Please retweet and ❤️ to thank the jury!
Does MAGA and everyone else really know how much money we give Israel? Just wait till you hear this because our Country will let children, elderly and Veterans starve because they can’t afford Medicaid, Snap and Medicare! 😡
@realDonaldTrump Just because they mocked your parade, doesn’t mean you have to show off by bombing IRAN. At the end of the day, you are still the weakest link and people will remain laughing at you.
