“Disliking children” in a world that continuously fails children is not revolutionary. Disliking children is even the common sentiment and practice. Child trafficking, child labor, child abuse… hating children is not new or ground shattering.
I hope you feel this shame for the rest of your life, I hope voting human rights away to put a child rapist in power was worth it cause you didnt like people with darker skin or pronouns. You will never find peace or atonement for what you did.
Theres alot of vtubers speaking up about political things finally and thats cool but i remember certain vtubers saying things like "I dont do politics i want my space to be wholesome and i want escapism." I remember you and my screenshots do too, I still dont trust white vtubers.
#opinion If you were among the vtubers who, a year ago, insisted that politics didn’t belong in vtubing spaces and that our “job” was only to entertain (no commentary, no positions, no discomfort) and now you’re suddenly engaging in political discourse because it’s trending or profitable, that contradiction is worth discussing.
It raises questions about consistency, integrity, and motivation. Was the original stance really about protecting community spaces from conflict, or was it about avoiding risk when speaking out wasn’t convenient? If political silence was framed as a principle then, but political engagement becomes acceptable only when it aligns with audience growth or social capital now, that selective neutrality contributes to the problem rather than solving it.
The issue isn’t that vtubers evolve, learn, or choose to speak up; it’s when “no politics” is treated as a rule for others, but a suggestion for oneself when the algorithm rewards breaking it. Hope this helps ✅
