@mitchellh Thanks, I remember early days of Google engineers on #Linux and ThinkPads, brought massive support towards performance, everything as early as T60 to x220 where great systems. Not so much so due to massive adoption of OSX systems across developer community

Go to mobile operators, ask them to share phone IDs exactly roaming around at that time, regardless if they have a burner SIM, they can track who that was, zero technical excuse here, with 4G/5G tech it's totally possible and down to an accuracy of that specific area, 5 to 10meters

@Electroversenet Why do they need double decker. It's ridiculously orkward for anyone or get into, and longer, buses that bend in the middle, more frequent make more sense,
Only large couches have ever worked to be double decker in terms of comfort and practicality

@faborio A train from Vienna is less then 3 hours, and if it was 1 hours, then folks would just commute for a day, and that really isn't s company off-site then.
Hieflau looks well connected if one could find a direct Villach connection (as it's in the same line)

This looks like a typical EU funded project where pretty much all the partners involved have little to any remotely similar experience then @Tesla does in developing FSD, taping out their own silicone, board level design and actually producing a test car. Their is lots of work since decades been done around FSD in Europe, but none of it actually deliveries it sole with private money, so the stakes to make it work beyond research implementation are v rare

The French and Germans will ban Tesla FSD to protect their car industry that's being decimated by Chinese EVs and Tesla

Allowing Tesla full self driving would make it so popular that it'd probably the end of their car industry

Because no French or German car has self driving like Tesla, many customers would probably flock to Tesla

To show you: this is the state of self driving cars in France now

My favorite part is the GDPR privacy policy required to be printed on the outside! 😂

@dickhertz176 @ClarksonsFarm1 The majority of 8mil or so swiss people don't even own a car, nevermind two, they also don't own a property, yet they live well and don't struggle to the extent people do unfortunately in UK,
So it's completely opposite outcome to what you say. A large factor is lower taxes

@TimurNegru Lucky that's not full of squatters, there is like an established org going around since years placing families across places like this to gain ownership etc.. and even the government is somewhat involved, maybe this is simply too remote for them

My biggest shock today was that America still has post offices, like ones you can actually walk into with your stuff and package it and they help you send it out

We don't have them in most of Europe anymore

You have tiny little counters in dirty tobacco shop and a tiny DPD or DHL or PostNL branded counter with agressive staff that really do not want to help you, and no they don't have boxes

Here's a FedEx post office we walked in today, they have envelopes, boxes, bubble wraps, everything!

You'll say but FedEx is private, yes you mean like most European postal companies now that are also private?

Just something as basic as this is abundance and we don't have it anymore in Europe
