It's pencils down, people. Writing code by hand is no longer an economically viable skill for most programmers at most companies. But the future of making software has never been brighter. Don't you dare black pill this beautiful moment! https://t.co/qaCgfmkW0u

[DHH @dhh]

Yes. Yes. YES!

[Henrik Klee @henrikklee]

What if you could install @omarchy on your iPad with a simple app?

[peetzweg/ @peetzweg]

OpenDisplay for Linux is now available, Sender & Receiver!

It's still early, therefore happy to receive feedback and contributions to support as many linux setups as possible.

[DHH @dhh]

Basecamp for Claude is live! https://t.co/qMTQfxbVlE

[DHH @dhh]

@NoemiTitarenco You couldn't have picked a better time if you do! We've finally fixed almost everything 😁. And whatever is still missing, you and an agent can help us finish.

[DHH @dhh]

This is part of why people who try Omarchy on some old potato PC find that their new MacBook machine suddenly isn't very attractive in comparison. There are a lot of common developer tasks that are just way, way faster on Linux (it's the same with Docker!).

[Theo - t3.gg @theo]

The Mac in this test cost $12,000. The PC cost $700.

[DHH @dhh]

@ya_scn I did. Nice improvement there too. We can make everything faster. False dilemma to think we need trade offs.

[DHH @dhh]

We've poured so many upgrades and features into this release it's hard to keep track. Too many, in fact! Should really have been three separate releases. But despite all of that, it's slimmer, lighter, and WAY WAY FASTER TO INSTALL! 🤘

[Omarchy @omarchy]

Omarchy 4.5 RC2 is now out and it includes our new F1 install technique that can almost get a full installation down to the time of a pitstop on the fastest machines (current record is 6 seconds!!). https://t.co/6zlmcS5AVQ

[DHH @dhh]

@pnd280 Working on it.

[DHH @dhh]

@thedustinmore @cristianoamon @anduriltech @Qualcomm @omarchy Yes. Already does!

[DHH @dhh]

@cm_richards Right click to close is back. Will fix fiddly target for X.

[DHH @dhh]

@thegarrettscott Not gonna lie, it's pretty sweet.

[DHH @dhh]

Windows Copilot was so terrible it might very well have seeded the AI opposition we now see among normies. Useless functionality, hyped to the moon, and a dumb key on every keyboard that did nothing worthwhile. https://t.co/GV9uruIvCJ

[DHH @dhh]

Thrilled to have @hancore_linux onboard full time to work on Omarchy design and community! We've gathered such a great full-time staff already. And there are more hires to come. https://t.co/fDo4H8Xvqa

[Omarchy @omarchy]

We’re hiring @hancore_linux as Head of Design and Community! He’s moving from his seat in Omarchy AIR to join the Omacom Foundation full time as our fourth staff member. https://t.co/IDpa1u6MAj

[DHH @dhh]

This is so bad ass. We gotta get Omarchy running on this thing, @PalmerLuckey!

[Palmer Luckey @PalmerLuckey]

American glass. American metal. American silicon. American batteries. American workers. American everything.

BlueChip is the first American computer in decades. Don't let anyone lie to you and say it can't be done.

Designed in California. Built in America.

[DHH @dhh]

So much of the climate hysteria is just aimless guilt roaming the earth in search of futile acts of atonement.

[New York Post @nypost]

Paper straws worse for the environment than plastic ones, says study https://t.co/9LjSEQtXEZ

[DHH @dhh]

@theo @iainsnotes In theory, all of Omarchy could be built out of prompts again. But what a token waste that would be. I'm a big fan of making sure things just work out of the box. And being able to use any iPad as an external monitor is a great thing to have like that.

[Elon Musk @elonmusk]

Remember when using the wrong pronoun got people canceled?

That was dumb.

[DHH @dhh]

Beautiful! Omarchy is a great fit for tablets, and we will make it better still. Tiling window managers are exactly what you need there. Add a few gestures for movement, and we will be flying.

[Henrik Klee @henrikklee]

terminal looking great in omaPad
