Robinson passed on March 29, 2026.

From Pomona, CA to the moon. @astrovicglover used wrestling and football as a launchpad for a life of service, leadership, and achievement.

A Southern California native, Victor Glover competed in both wrestling and football before becoming a first generation college student at Cal Poly San Luis Obispo. The discipline, accountability, and resilience he built on the mat did not stay in the wrestling room. They shaped the man he would become.

Those same lessons carried him through a distinguished career as a U.S. Navy test pilot, and eventually to becoming a @NASA astronaut. Now, he is piloting the Artemis II mission, the first crewed mission to orbit the moon in over 50 years, and is set to become the first African American to travel to the moon.

This is what these programs produce.

This is why we fight.

Because wrestling is not just about wins and losses. It is about building the kind of people who go on to lead, serve, and inspire at the highest levels.

And if we take these opportunities away, we are not just cutting a sport. We are cutting off the pipeline that makes stories like this possible. #keepcbuwrestling

It’s just wrestling.

On January 4th Gabe Arnold wrestled in the finals at the Soldier Salute at 174 pounds.

Less than 10 days later Iowa would lose Endene off the roster, and Ferrari sidelined due to injury shortly after.

Arnold filled in at 184 until Ferrari’s return, then moved up to fill the hole at 197.

He came into the NCAA’s the 27 seed and is now an All-American.
