@JungAristotle & then it also sucks that probably the largest argument used for games as art is pointing at an individual game's writing or dialogue or art design or soundtrack, any single element, but they never really talk about the gameplay as part of that
@JungAristotle It really does suck that the main conception of games among consumers & devs (or at least publishers etc) is "just mindless fun", not because games have to be more complex etc whatever but because it pigeonholes it all & makes people balk at any discussion of them as art
problem with corporate landlords is if i did some fist of the north star stuff to my landlord causing them to explode for the AC being out it wouldnt really be my landlord it would just be some guy making 20 bucks an hour
