🚨 THE #ONEPIECE THEORY THAT WILL RUIN YOU: Is Imu just Eiichiro Oda’s version of Griffith? 🧵👇

We all know IMU is the ultimate shadow ruler of OnePiece. But what if his origin story is a direct mirror to the darkest moment in manga history? #BERSERK

1️⃣ THE JOY BOY BETRAYAL (The "Guts" Connection)

In Berserk, Griffith sacrificed his closest bond with Guts for a kingdom.The current manga lore heavily implies Imu and Joyboy were incredibly close 800 years ago. Imu’s current obsession and hatred toward Luffy/Joyboy’s legacy feels deeply personal. It’s pure Griffith-level resentment.

2️⃣ THE VOID ECLIPSE (The Ultimate Sacrifice)
How did Imu get immortal? How did he become a literal god?
Imu was just one of the 20 Kings. To gain supreme power, he didn't just lead he BETRAYED and sacrificed or brainwashed the other 19 rulers to claim the Empty Throne and the Immortality Operation alone. A literal Eclipse.

3️⃣ THE "APOSTLE" FIVE ELDERS

Look at the Five Elders. They aren't just politicians. When they fight, they transform into literal, horrific demonic beasts. They don't act like normal Devil Fruit users, they act like Griffith’s Apostles monsters who traded humanity for power under a dark god.

4️⃣ THE FALSE PARADISE (Falconia vs. Mariejois)

Griffith rules Falconia a beautiful, white, perfect utopia built on hidden demonic horrors. Imu rules Mariejois a pristine, holy city above the clouds, built on a foundation of genocide, slavery, and erased history.

THE CONCLUSION?
Oda is a massive manga fan. He knows the weight of Berserk. If Imu’s flashback shows them sacrificing his best friend (Joy Boy) for the throne, it will be the most devastating backstory in One Piece history.
