I will land a job in tech. Be it as a frontend, backend, full-stack, cloud, dev ops, AI/ML, or whatever other buzzwords the industry throws around.
I will, I will, I will. ๐ช
Hello this is my first post on X!
My name is Sambi, I am a student who is trying to break into software engineering. But I also enjoy learning and building software projects in my free time
I plan to post everything I learn/build onto this account, nice to meet you! ๐
Today I deployed a website called PetsChef! :D
Hereโs the link if you want to check it out - https://t.co/QuTG3MAW90
Itโs a pretty simple CRUD app but I learned how to write patch, delete routes and how to handle image file uploads using the multer middleware ๐โโ๏ธ
Today I solved a leetcode easy, anagram problem and felt like a geniusโฆonly to try a similar problem (group anagram) but get stuck ๐
But on the bright side I learned how to use a hashset to check for anagrams so a win is a win!
The University of Michigan put their entire robotics degree on GitHub.
Not one course. The whole curriculum.
ROB 101 โ Computational Linear Algebra for Robotics
ROB 311 โ How to Build Robots and Make Them Move
ROB 501 โ Mathematics for Robotics
ROB 530 โ Mobile Robotics
Every lecture video on YouTube. Every textbook on GitHub. Every problem set, every exam, every line of code.
Professor Jessy Grizzle said it best when they launched it:
"Linear algebra has become the language of computer vision, machine learning, robotics, and autonomy."
So instead of making students wait four semesters of calculus before touching a robot... they built a curriculum that starts with the math that actually matters, applied to real robotics problems from day one.
This is what open education looks like when a top-10 engineering school decides to mean it.
Free. GitHub. YouTube.
