Saturday 22 October in Town Quay Park, Southampton we are unveiling a new memorial to the Basque Children and those people who helped them. ‘Picasso’s Guernica Dove’ by Anthony D Padgett remembers the tears and anguish of the dove which features in Pablo Picasso’s painting.
Bitterne Local History Society have been promoting and recording the history of Bitterne and the east of Southampton for 40 years! Lovely to celebrate this milestone birthday today. Make sure you visit them to see their amazing museum and chat with their knowledge volunteers!

We are heading to The Provincial Society ‘Stokes Bay Bus Rally’ on Sunday 1st August. That’s this coming Sunday!
Around 50 buses are due to be on display, we are certainly looking forward to being out and about after so long.
