The 93rd Anniversary of the Indian Air Force was commemorated at Air Force Station Hindan on 08 Oct 2025 with a grand parade, reviewed by Chief of the Air Staff, Air Chief Marshal AP Singh. The event was graced by CDS Gen Anil Chauhan, COAS, CNS, former Chiefs of Air Staff and veterans.

The parade began with the marching-in of the President’s Colours, and an aerial salute by Mi-17 IV helicopters in ‘Dhwaj’ formation. CAS lauded IAF’s evolution into the fourth largest Air Force in the world, and its decisive role in Op Sindoor, reaffirming faith in indigenous capability and innovation.

CAS felicitated Air Warriors with a total of 97 medals across categories, as well as six Unit Citations.

An Innovation Arena showcased the ingenuity of Air Warriors, while a thematic display of "The Year Gone By" highlighted IAF’s year of challenges and triumphs. The Heritage Flight’s aerial display, featuring Tiger Moth, HT-2 and Harvard aircraft, paid a befitting tribute to IAF’s proud legacy.

Let the war stop with immediate effect, and let peace prevail. India has respect and love for Ukrainian people, and India is a friend of Russia. Ukraine's government must think big, and peace, safety and economic development of its citizens must be its topmost and only priority. Ukraine must only ask the USA and European Countries for investments in its economy so that the country develops in a good manner. USA and European Countries must only contribute towards the Foreign Direct Investment of Ukraine and must not contribute towards the war. There is no necessity whatsoever for Ukraine to ever join NATO as Ukraine is a neighbour of Russia. This will let Russia not be unduly concerned. I sincerely request Russia's leadership to also convey this message very clearly to Ukraine and to the world. I sincerely request our friend, Russia, to stop the war with immediate effect. The President of the United States of America is not pro-war, and I sincerely request the USA to completely stop its support for the war. With regards to the geographical regions of contention, let only peaceful diplomatic talks prevail. Thank you and Jai Hind.
