@BTRBT_ Extreme capitalism is also not the solution, if you think about it extreme capitalism basically just leads to exploitation. That’s the entire thought right? Minimize operating costs to provide the cheapest and best product to the public no matter the cost!

@BTRBT_ Im not a die hard socialist, in ways I wish Europe was more capitalist but I also understand that socialist policies make sure that even if people are poor they can afford to live life and have some enjoyment while doing so. Inequality is needed to AN EXTENT.

Regarding the European “unhealthy obsession” it’s less an obsession and more a warning for us. Culturally everything that happens in the US eventually comes here

Nights in Europe during summer are literally colder than this btw 💀 where I live nights rn are around 14-16C (57-61F), so I guess Americans are the ones who have it a bit hot.

If you were to add non-union countries aswell the average wouldn’t change much since majority of EU is in the union.

@MindRepaired @SariArhoHavren Healthcare? US has a lower average life expectancy and also “good living years”. Safety? US also ranks consistently lower on safety metrics. Another big thing in the US is that you guys are so polarised politically that the 2 halves of the country cannot stand eachother…..
