This has to be one of the strangest decisions of @pgatour when it comes to being in the entertainment business. If it was up to me I’d be focusing more on Monday qualifiers. There’s a movie script story nearly every week. I’d give the leading qualifier a tv draw and get a tv crew to follow him for the week. I would do this even more so in the signature events. We could have a “tin cup” story any given week. Could you imagine a struggling pro finishing in the top 10 and winning half a million. Nobody would begrudge that payout.
@scottgolfs Hell yeah! I own the Wilson 8802, the Cleveland 8802, the same Napa by Scotty, the Odyssey black out 8802, and finally the Toulon small batch “Latrobe” 1 of 25. Great putters! The Napa is all original and never been gamed. The Latrobe hasn’t left the plastic or box.

Nick Bienz works at Golf Galaxy, has never played any pga tour sanctioned event, he is so nervous he’s pounding beers. Just shot 65.
Please take the time to watch this.
The US Open should never be a birdie fest. Par is the goal. Birdies are a premium. Bogeys will happen. If you find this boring, turn it off and wait for next week when birdies will abound. The US Open is supposed to be hard. Tour players don't get challenged like this very much. I'm loving it
Just a full-on disaster for the PGA of America. A horrific accident that killed a pedestrian and the world no. 1, who is an angel of a human and a new father, in fucking jail for trying to get to the golf course.
@jcmmartin65 First attempt I failed by 1 shot, weeks of preparation & studying the course. Second attempt a month later: no preparation & jam fest to course. First in parking lot, 20 mins of putting, & a small bucket. Snickers bar and Mt Dew for breakfast, followed by an even par 72-72.
Okay, @PatMcAfeeShow, here's an offer you've got to take.
Tuesday ISU tips off at 9pm against Cincinnati. I'm inviting you to come on over to Terredise. We can spend a few hours doing a downtown food and bar crawl. Let's do it!
