@Post_humanist And also read the latest papers/books. Of course, families can wait. I see colleagues getting extremely stressed because they are on 5 deadlines. But at the end of the day, we are not saving the world. I would like to be able to save the world with a paper.

@Post_humanist I totally agree. The problem is that if you want to pay the bills, sometimes you need to adapt. It's what I dislike about Academia. You must publish ### papers, on good peer review journals, while teaching, participate in international conferences and doing fieldwork.
