1. not everyone can run the game due to not having specs or a console
2. not everyone can afford to buy lots of games
3. simply not wanting to. some of us genuinely enjoy watching videos of other ppl playing and that’s okay
If we gatekept gaming fandoms to only people who purely played it there would be fucking NOTHING
we NEED passive consumers and engagers, and if youre well versed in the series despite not playing the games, YOU ARE A FAN. (Minus gameplay discussion)
@Wabbitteuh@Frederic_Molas Persona 5, l'original ou Royal
l'original peut étre mais Royal est du gateau, faut jouer en mode cauchemar pour la difficulté
@cactender this dude is straight up stupid...and i'm more of a Persona fan than a FF fan, like obviously the teaser for one of the most anticipated JRPG in the current year, one that people have been waiting for 10+ years is going to have more view than the game we knew was coming already
@junmypookie what right does someone who has not experienced the video "GAME" has to places himself as an equal fan to someone who has spent hours on said games mastering it's mechanics, sure money is a problem, sure you can watch videos of the game but don't go around acting like you played
The reason the death scenes are censored like this is because game journalists saw the gruesome death scenes in the first Tomb Raider remake and said, "Yeah these are inherently sexualized deaths."
TL;DR - Some game journos have a weird gore fetish, got uncomfortable, so now we can't have violent deaths in Tomb Raider anymore.
