monad's top 450 airdrop wallets: 445 sold, 5 still holding. 98.9% dump rate from the addresses that spent 12 months farming allocation. team confirms "few billion more tokens" coming for ecosystem incentives. when the most informed participants exit immediately, they know the dilution schedule you don't
monad
raised $244m from VCs
somehow they needed another $187m (lmfaoo)
total $431m, for a chain that isn’t even faster than an average l2
they announced the worst tokenomics the universe has ever seen (a true rival to celestia)
to make these awful tokenomics look less embarrassing, they started marketing that locked tokens “won’t be staked”
(as if that wasn’t supposed to be the default anyway)
their so called “ecosystem” is just a pile of evm forks and random “dot fun” trash
the founders shill memecoins that go to zero from day one
their growth team thinks bot engagement on twitter is ‘superior marketing’
they’re about to learn that real life isn’t just engagement farming and spamming gmonad in discord all day
the fact that even an ico open to US residents didn’t immediately fill to the brim was already a sign
after a garbage price action, $mon is still sitting at a $3b fdv

Ok I think I’ve finally been enlightened and realized why @monad will continue struggling. (And no, @CryptoHayes is not their biggest problem rn)
For years they “cultivated” a circle-jerking community that grew A LOT which managed to make a loooot of noise, but mostly pushed CT out of the equation; the thing is, there are close to no whales inside that circle. Everything got worse when the airdrop came and it was microscopic, basically making the monad community/eco destined to fail because there wasn’t even money in the community to begin with.
‘Outside capital’ (CT) is not interested in bridging in - bidding stuff outside of $MON because they feel pushed out of said community.
Either it was a Machiavellian design (TG ‘OG’ is the biggest example, they used people for their ‘missions’ & marketing and, since announcing the airdrop, TG got closed 😂😅) orrrrrr they were naive enough to think their community would stick even after being punched in the face and that CT would bridge no matter what.
Anddddd once again, the biggest example is @ChogNFT. Even though they’re the #1 project regarding hype, it’s failing horribly because no one in the monad community actually has money to buy it, and people outside that community are not interested in bidding it… (@benjanad if you wanna save $chog u need to start reaching out to outsiders, aka “CT influenzors” outside monad community)
I really thought they would pose a threat to Solana trenches, cause there’s A LOT of builders… but it’s the same problem all along… there wasn’t a wealth generation event (the airdrop failed miserably to do so) sooo I don’t see what will push people into bidding stuff within the Monad echo.
Either they start criming stuff UP and offering a BIG FAT liquidity incentive program or I don’t see how they’ll stay relevant.
Yw for the detailed analysis on the situation @keoneHD@_jhunsaker 🤝
I don’t know the first thing about your tech. I’m sure it’s good, everyone that speaks about you and your team say you guys are smart as fuck. But your tokenomics pretty much guarantee $MON will be Down Only.
Tell your community how the chain will absorb the 90% of tokens without cratering. Tell your community about the amount of usage needed so that there is organic demand to buy the token from the early investors and team members who will sell it once it unlocks. There is nothing wrong with selling, your early supporters an team members deserve a good return for taking risk. Tell the community how you will maintain this price level with ~1% monthly inflation just due to staking rewards. Fucking educate me on that. I don’t give a fuck what your tech does, I’m a trader. Write me a wall of text about the flows and make me look like an idiot.
Until then , $MON is a hot potato. It’s fun to scalp with but the general trajectory will be lower just due to supply and demand.
