@cfcsimv2 I mean it's the equivalent of finishing first in our group in the old format and having to play PSG or Newcastle because they finished second in their group. Tough round of 16 games in the champions league isn't surprising. It's the best teams in Europe.
@ManagerTactical Can't discount the one American team that earned their spot! Just wanted my boys to put up a good account of themselves and they did. Proud of them.
@ScottyWegs9@TaylorTwellman The rule is that as long as he is moving forward the whole time it's legal and he is still inching forward even when he "stops." It's a very favorable rule for penalty takers but a rule nonetheless.
@paulleat@Zonal_Marking Didn't get a chance to watch the game but sometimes playing in a system where you're receiving passes higher up the field than anyone else on your team can help you score more goals . Just a hunch.

And good for whatever countries that have recovered well from a US coups. All I'm saying is the fact that the US was the one to remove a progressive...
@Thundering165@JDS_NYC@Meg_Swanick Say what you want about Iran and US now but the US shares lot of blame for the current state of Iran which makes the comment seem quite tone deaf. Educate yourself on the US coup in Iran which set a lot of things in motion. The podcast Throughline's 1st episode is a good start.
