Assuming he holds on, which he will...I honestly think this win might be the scariest of all from Scottie. He's coming off winning the Masters. That's such an emotional experience (for mere mortals). And then what comes after it is a whirlwind. Flies home to see his wife who is 8+ months pregnant. Doesn't get to Hilton Head until Tuesday night. 9 holes of prep for the week. Starts with meh round of -2. Still had plenty time to kick it into gear and beat a field full of the PGA Tour's best players going away. Winning golf tournaments is just what he does right now. Because he's so damn grounded it seems he just doesn't ride the emotional rollercoaster. Win the Masters, rest a few days, play some good golf, win another huge tournament. It's not any more complicated than that for him. That's such a special place to be mentally.
