An earthy or algae-like taste/odor has been detected in water treated at the City's Boyd Lake Treatment Plant. Customers should know Greeley water remains safe. Activated carbon treatment to remove the taste & odor has been started, but will take time to work.

Some Greeley customers have noticed a temporary earthy or algae-like taste or odor caused by naturally occurring algae-related components in source water. Staff are actively testing, monitoring & adjusting treatment.

The Poudre Trail will be closed between 83rd Ave and 95th Ave, with no detour, from July 13-17. The construction company is completing paving and fixing several cracks in the concrete trail. The parking lot at the Poudre Learning Center will re-open on Saturday, July 18.
