So proud of Ms Maggie and our grade 2/3 class for initiating a successful PJ Walk fundraiser for Ronald McDonald house / CHEO. Together, students raised enough $ to provide 23 nights for a family stay-over while a child is undergoing treatment/care. ❤️
During the upcoming holiday break, our students are: checking-in on loved ones, sharing time & gratitude, and doing things that show kindness and care.
Take good care from ALL of us at Greely ES! ❤️
A strong connection between family and school results in a very important support system for our children. We look forward to connecting at our interview night tonight and tomorrow morning!
Science & Technology
D2.3 identify the six basic types of machines: lever, inclined plane, wedge, pulley, wheel and axle, and screw.
This morning our 2/3 class noted a flag pole pulley, a shovel, a slide and more!
Happy September!
Our children benefit from outdoor play in all kinds of weather. Thank you for sending your child in (labelled with name) weather friendly layers. #curiosity#criticalthinking#welovemud

Learning each other’s preferred names is an important connection that increases trust and positive communication. Ms. Duke’s class is ahead of the game!
I aim to know them all by the end of September. #challengeon#thekidsalwaysgivemehints
We are SO happy to be together again (at a safe distance)! Turn up the volume… can you hear the sound of reconnecting and belonging? It’s a beautiful thing!
