@RobSea2@onocoyRTK Hi Rob, still supporting onocoy and holding some yes. Though not in an active ambassador role currently as the ambassador program was paused.
I am trying to work together on other fronts with onocoy too though, e.g. through DePINvest.
Onocoy $ONO is looking good!
Why:
🔹️More liquidity added by team
🔹️Company buybacks based on revenue (revenue & paying clients growing fast)
🔹️Lower inflation (ambassador program inactive atm)
🔹️Technically the graph looks good. Holding and passing current levels means price reversal. Price doubled (100% increase) in the past 2 weeks or so 🤯
These are my opinions, I believe @onocoyRTK $ONO a great buy at these prices (2.4m circ m.cap).
NOTE: this is NOT a paid post nor an ambassador post. I was an active ambassador but this program is on hold. I only support what I truly believe in & onocoy is one of those.
Loved this read.
Most get greedy in crypto, shifting goalposts as their portfolio grows.
So did I. I'm not a money driven person even though I did have financial motives. At my core, I just enjoyed 'the game' of analysing tokens & being right about the moves. Still I got sucked in.
This is my story, starting in 2017.
I started with a few hundred dollars & the goal to help family with some financial issues & to pay off my student debt (approx. $26k in USD).
When I could, I shifted my goal to being able to buy a house and a nice car.
I had invested approx. $10k in total by 2020. Its value after 3 years of DCA-ing in (until the point of $10k invested): around $150k.
I was single, had time & traded daily, average an hour or so per day. Woke up looking at the graphs, went to bed looking at them.
Then it went fast. First to 300k and then due to some presale/private sale to $700k (paper value). This was 2021/early 2022. Max. I could have taken out when I timed it perfectly (as part was locked token value) would have been around $450k.
I could help family, buy the house, car, pay off student debt & live life with little to no financial worries.
But then COVID ended, Russia invaded Ukraine & the crypto market crashed.
First week of the crash my portfolio went down from (by then) ~$400k to ~$220k. I was highly exposed in alts & $EWT back then (2022).
I thought we would bounce back, in that bounce I'd sell I told myself. The bounce didn't come. Next days my portfolio value went down another 50-70k to approx. $150k.
A friend approached me around this time, he knew a housing project I could get in to. As getting a house is tough in the Netherlands as a single person, I made a decision: I'll do it.
I sold all crypto & all stock I owned.
To buy the house, I needed it all liquid in October 2022. Pretty much at the bottoming point of the market. I sold all for that ~$150k. It was around 7.5 $BTC at the time.
I achieved all goals I had set for myself. I felt I was selling at the bottom of the market. I more or less was.
I made the decision for my mental health. I was early 30s, living in a student house because of the housing crisis. Mentally, I couldn't stand living there any longer. I had to move on.
Buying the completely sustainable house, with garden, view over a cornfield & a shared vegetable garden, was the best decision I could have made.
Even though I sold the bottom. Even though those 7.5 $BTC would be worth $620k+ again now.
I learned four lessons.
1. Take profits on the way up, your journey may take longer, but it is safer.
2. Do not think you will not get greedy or will not shift goalposts. You will. Take profits, fullfil the dreams you started for.
3. Do not get sucked into overtrading, it will make you a prisoner of your phone/trading app. It may affect relationships with friends, family or others.
4. When you screenshot profits, take them. Don't want to miss out on the move up? Sell 25% or 50%, keep the rest. Psychologically you will feel good no matter if it goes up or down after: you can either buy back more cheaper or you profits more with the part you kept.
Now, 9 years after starting, 3,5 years after I stopped being a prisoner of my phone, I am still in crypto. But with peace of mind.
My main goals are fulfilled. I learned a lot. Lessons which allow me to do the same again, but with new (secondary) goals & no trading stress.
I got my life in order. An amazing girlfriend who moved in with me, I'm often in nature & am building my own products/services because I can and enjoy it.
What I'd advice people? Whether you have financial stress or not, take the lessons I shared to heart & choose peace of mind over money.
Invest in assets you believe in & track these, but don't let investing control your day to day.
Historically very few traders out-trade $BTC. Buy that as a base & (occassionally) trade altcoins with a fraction you're willing to lose.
Good luck 🙏🏻

Satoshi came into my dream last night.
He looked at me and said,
“What’s up, bro? Do you still have Bitcoin?”
I paused for a while.
My eyes got wet. I reached for some water, took a sip, and replied,
“Bro, I don’t have any Bitcoin left.”
He looked surprised.
“What happened? I thought you had plenty. You discovered Bitcoin before 99.9% of the people on the internet even knew it existed. You were so early. What went wrong?”
I stayed silent for a moment.
Then I said,
“Being early was a blessing that slowly turned into a punishment.
When I first discovered Bitcoin, it wasn’t just about money. It was about freedom, curiosity, rebellion, and the possibility of a different world.
But somewhere along the way, everything changed.
People who came later wanted the Bitcoin we had. They wanted better entries, bigger bags, higher returns. And slowly, an entire environment was created where nobody ever felt they had enough.
If you had 1 Bitcoin, you wanted 10.
If you had 10, you wanted 100.
And if you had 100, you were terrified of losing them.
I got caught in that game too.
First, greed convinced me that whatever I had wasn’t enough.
Then fear convinced me that whatever I had could disappear tomorrow.
And somewhere between those two emotions, I lost almost everything.
Not just Bitcoin.
I lost sleep. I lost peace. I lost years of my life chasing numbers on a screen.
The funny thing is, bro, I was never poor when I entered this game. I became poor the moment I started believing I didn’t have enough.
And what happened between greed and fear is the answer to your question.”
Satoshi looked at me.
And then he laughed.
I woke up.
For a moment, I genuinely felt like I had spoken to him.
I checked my wallet.
Not even five figures.
Then I opened CT.
People were still flexing their PnLs. Someone had made millions. Someone was calling the next 100x. Someone was angry about missing a trade. Someone who had already made life-changing money was desperately trying to make more.
And suddenly, I realised something.
Some of us entered crypto to become free, but ended up becoming prisoners of the very thing we believed would liberate us.
We spent years waiting for that one number.
The number after which we would finally stop.
Finally travel.
Finally spend time with our families.
Finally make music, read books, sit under trees, and live without constantly checking prices.
But every time we reached a number, the number changed.
The finish line kept moving.
And life kept passing.
I looked at my wallet again.
It’s an amount that most people on CT wouldn’t even consider retirement money.
But somehow, I feel retired.
Not because I made enough money.
Because I finally stopped needing more to feel enough.
I still love Bitcoin. I still believe in what brought me here. But I no longer want my happiness to depend on a green candle.
Maybe I lost the game everyone else is still trying to win.
Maybe I could have been a multimillionaire if I had made a few different decisions.
Maybe I will never recover what I once had.
And maybe that’s okay.
Because for the first time in years, I don’t wake up feeling that I am behind someone.
I don’t need to win back my past.
I don’t need to prove that I was early.
I don’t need the market to validate my existence.
I have something today that I couldn’t buy even when my portfolio was worth many times more.
The ability to enjoy an ordinary moment without wishing it were something else.
I thanked Satoshi.
I thanked God.
Then I picked up my kalimba and started playing.
A few minutes later, I lost myself in the music.
No charts. No PnL. No next 100x. No regrets.
Just a few notes, a little silence, and a man who finally had nothing left to chase.
Perhaps that was the freedom I came looking for in Bitcoin all those years ago.
I came to Bitcoin looking for financial freedom.
It took me years of losing money to realise that freedom begins when money stops owning your mind.
@quentin_tlss@krakenfx They should prioritize their customers and their customer experience. The way they treat you, me and others' money is ridiculous.
Hope you get your situation fixed asap!
Update: A few hours after I posted this, my funds got released and sent. See screenshot attached.
My point about prioritising customers still stands. It cannot be that someone has to wait 10 days for their funds to pass a standard random security check.
Funds getting sent by a user means they have bills to pay, assets they want to invest in or assets they want to sell.
Mocking the banking sector while at the same time trying to become a (neo)bank but with worse customer support and security checks exceeding your own standard of "within 7 days" is a big joke.
The smartest move. I was just looking for a trustworthy on- and off ramp mostly with relatively affordable fees, but this is why I moved the funds to a DEX wallet too, but its embedded in Kraken and still makes me have to wait for them in these occasions.
Something I'd be okay with even if they'd conduct their checks in 24h or less or within their own specified timeframe even (within 7 days, their words).
@0x1_0NE@krakenfx@GotrillaGorilla They are worse than banks themselves, been 10 days and my funds have not passed the transaction with Kraken. No reply to customer support either.
At least a bank you can call and they help you, here you get an AI bot and a big fuck you from a bunch of hypocrites.

@Michelwu2f@krakenfx I don't believe Tier matters, account verification probably does (mine is verified). Either way, it shouldn't take this long to help your customers, whatever Tier they are.
@francescoX222@krakenfx For me this is more of a warning to others than me asking for an update. I trust they will eventually see it's legal money and that it passes their check.
I am just upset about the duration and overall experience, this should not take this long and it's hypocritical.
