🌹 HER MAJESTY THE QUEEN 🌹
This is one of the few color photos of an apparition of the Blessed Virgin Mary. It was taken on September 3, 1989, in a church in Hungary when an art restorer asked someone to take a photo of him on the scaffolding while he was working on a painting behind the altar. When he turned around, he saw with his own eyes a holy figure that looked like the Virgin Mary holding a small child in her arms. However, the photographer saw nothing. Fortunately, the miracle was indeed immortalized in the photo he took.
What a beautiful crown! 👑
Ave Maria!
Fr. Ripperger: "There's a different guardian angel for every single human person that's ever been conceived."
Tomorrow the Church celebrates the Feast of Guardian Angels. Remember to pray to them!
The Pope’s Prayer intention for the month of October is to pray for those who suffer with mental illness:
“God of life, you know, the innermost depths of our hearts, the light and shadows within us, the silent wounds that sometimes no one sees.
Today we bring before you, our brothers and sisters, who struggle with challenges to their mental health, who suffer in solitude with anxiety, depression, or any other mental illness. You call them by name with tenderness, and in you, they find dignity and hope.
Forgive us for the times we have looked the other way, feeding the stigma and discrimination of persons with mental illnesses.
May your church be an open house, a safe space, where everyone has a place, a community that accompanies and never excludes, that listens without judging, and draws near without fear.
We pray to you, Lord, for those who care, professionals, family members, volunteers, men and women who, with patience and love, build bridges of understanding and comfort. Give them strength and compassion to sustain others.
Send your spirit upon us, that we may learn to welcome and integrate, care for mental health, into the life and ministry of our communities and of the whole church, and thus become a living sign of your mercy. Which never abandons and always restores.
Amen.”
Since 1973, the Church has recognized October as Respect Life Month, a time to celebrate the God-given dignity of every human life and to advocate for its protection from conception until natural death. This year's theme is Mary, Mother of Life.

Pope Paul VI made St Benedict Patron Saint of Europe recognizing how his Rule and monasteries saved Europe from collapse after Rome fell.
Today, as Europe forgets Christ again, we need Saint Benedict’s intercession to rebuild faith and civilization from the ruins.
And what better way than to use his medal?
A blessed Saint Benedict Medal is a sacramental. Wear it with faith in God and ask for Saint Benedict’s intercession. Its purpose is to support a life of prayer and conversion.
Have it blessed by a priest, learn its prayers, and remember what you are asking whenever you wear it.
Asking for the Cross to be your light should affect the choices you make. Rejecting temptation means making an effort to leave behind the habits that keep drawing you into sin.
Go to confession. Make time for prayer. Fulfil your responsibilities even when nobody notices. Benedict’s teaching gives us plenty to practise in ordinary life.
You carry a prayer on that medal. Learn it, pray it, and let it remind you whom you follow.
Saint Benedict helped save a civilization from the ruins. His intercession can help us do the same thing again.
He defeated poison and demons not by strength, but by the Cross.
That same Cross is yours. Pick it up like he did.
Crux Sacra Sit Mihi Lux, Non Draco Sit Mihi Dux.
The Viking crusader army who never lost a battle:
In 1107, King Sigurd I of Norway sailed for the Holy Land with around 60 ships and thousands of men, becoming the first European king to personally lead a crusade there.
Over three years, his forces fought repeatedly across Iberia and the Mediterranean without recorded defeat.
In Jerusalem, Sigurd received a relic of the True Cross, promising to bring it back to Norway and honor it at the shrine of St. Olaf.
“There is no problem, I tell you, no matter how difficult it is, that we cannot resolve by the prayer of the Holy Rosary.”
— Fr. Gabriel Amorth.
In this month of October, pray the Rosary daily.
🇯🇵 While there are very few Christians and Muslims in Japan, there's a big difference in terms of demographics.
Most Christians in Japan are of Japanese ethnicity. Most Muslims are foreigners. The difference is vast when we observe behaviors, manners and customs.
