$120k PnL in 15 days trading esports on @Polymarket, mostly Dota 2 and Valorant
The painful part: almost $11k paid in fees, with only ~$3k back in maker rebates
Fees are still brutal, on low-liquidity markets I often have to take, since maker orders rarely get filled
Take a look at this risk taker on @Polymarket.
Trader: @GreenBerry1337
+ $180K profit in less than 22 days
He claims he made it in 15 days, but there’s a 2–5 day gap, so I’ll leave that aside.
Just look at his trades.
He’s risking serious money, often buying markets below 50¢, meaning he’s taking positions where the market implies a higher chance of losing.
Other trades are above 60¢, still carrying meaningful downside
Most of his bets are on esports, where outcomes can swing quickly and anything can happen
But one thing I’m wondering
He’s made over $100K… so why doesn’t he have a Polymarket badge?
An @Polymarket trader @GreenBerry1337 made
-> +$70,000 in 1 week
-> +$150,000 in 1 month
I checked his profile and found out that he mostly trade esport
One thing I also checked that he's average entry price is nearly 50c
And as we know in placing trade at less then or equal 50c can make your prediction 50-50
But still green berry somehow managed to make insane profits with it
A Polymarket whale lost $1.7M today.
I made $7,550 trading against him.
Here’s what happened:
Until today, Djdjdjekekek was #1 in PnL in the esports category.
Then EWC CS2 started.
And he went on tilt.
After every loss, his next bet got bigger:
$80k → $150k → $200k → $500k
Then came the final boss:
$770,000 on 100 Thieves vs Vitality.
A BO1.
Against one of the best CS2 teams in the world.
He bought around 2.6M shares of 100T at 28¢.
With that much size, he basically pushed the entire market. And that’s where the opportunity appeared.
Because while he was aggressively buying 100T, the price on Vitality became way too cheap.
I bought 27,000 Vitality shares at ~72.5¢ average.
Vitality won.
+$7,550.
He ended the day around -$1.7M.
This is one of the ways I make money on Polymarket that people don’t talk about enough:
You don’t always need to find a market where everyone is wrong.
Sometimes you just need to find one whale who is wrong with a lot of money.
Big emotional orders can move prices far away from fair value.
And if you know the fair price…
you can simply take the other side.
Watch the whales
Watch the big orders
Wait for the mispricing
An anonymous account that is suspiciously good at predicting Trump's Iran war decisions is going big on Trump opening the Strait of Hormuz... TOMORROW.
He will win over $1,000,000 if he's right.
After 12 years of trading & over 20,000 trades...
And more than $10 MILLION in profits generated. I’ve learned what actually works, and what destroys accounts.
