After we lost 21 hectares of our corn field to drought, it was a devastating experience for our company.

Especially for a start-up Agro firm.

We were forced to go back to the drawing table nd reevaluate our approach.

The whole team was downcast, but in the midst of the chaos..

@MpondaSabinus Asked this question on your other post:

Your field is so clean and weed free.

How are you able to achieve this.

[Green Continental (Farming) Limited @GreenContinentL]

@MpondaSabinus @WendyMadzura What do you guys use to weed your corn field?

[Green Continental (Farming) Limited @GreenContinentL]

@The_AdProfessor Love this 💗

How you can buy a business paying you $10,000 a month in the next 90 days (even if you have NO money).

-BIG thread-

@Samsonprolific Had this convo with someone yesterday.

But let me bring it back home to farming to be specific.

Many would-be farmers today approach farming with a gambling sentiment.

Put 2M into 2024 Rice farming so I can make 8M at the end of the year - it's really a cancer indeed.

Always thought I’d have the world by the tail if we could ever get a payloader and a box scraper. After getting both I realize I was absolutely correct.

2024 harvest well underway. Yesterday was finishing the flat land oilseed rape. Today weather permitting we will get into the ryegrass

Farming isn't for the faint of hearts.

Still irrigating .

From the farm to you!

Back from the farm.

Today:

- We went
- We saw
- We Laboured.

Tomorrow we go again.

Tractor ploughing and harrowing next in line - tomorrow. 🚜

Weeding and irrigation continues on the nursery beds.

It's chilly time 🌶️

@Samsonprolific @sFarmLab Can I sell in your stores??

Borehole project today was a FLOP.

Came in contact with hard impervious rock.

Plan B:
Draw water from the river itself.

[Green Continental (Farming) Limited @GreenContinentL]

@bukky_anny What happens is:

The chickens pick on the leaves.

Then they use their legs to scratch the pepper out of the soil.

But that's not all - When you water the beds . . . Chickens also get attracted by the wet grounds because it becomes easier to scratch the soil for earthworms.

Chickens picking on pepper in the nursery beds.

Damage is huge! 😔
