The breakdown:

• Texas Muslim Women’s Foundation: More than $11 million

• Muslim Community Center for Human Services: $476,000

• Foundation to Advance Islamic Teaching in Houston: $306,000

• Islamic Education Institute of Texas: $191,850

• Islamic Center of Greater Austin: $150,000

• Islamic Center of Round Rock: $130,000

• Islamic Ahlul Bayt Association: $101,000

• Islamic Center of Brushy Creek: $99,000

• Muslim American Society–Katy: $91,862

• Clear Lake Islamic Center: $86,000

• Islamic Society of Greater Houston: More than $66,000

Responsibility is divided among several levels, not one group of legislators and not one $13 million check.

* The Texas Legislature approved the broad state budgets and grant programs.
* Governor Greg Abbott signed those budgets and controlled the Governor’s Public Safety Office during the entire 2015–2025 period.
* Texas Health and Human Services Commission (HHSC) appears responsible for the largest portion—payments to the Texas Muslim Women’s Foundation under Contract HHS000380000076, the Family Violence Program.
* The Governor’s Public Safety Office administered grants to several other organizations, including approximately $101,000 to the Islamic Ahlul Bayt Association and grants involving Clear Lake Islamic Center and MAS–Katy.
* The Texas Workforce Commission reportedly distributed about $306,000 in federal coronavirus-relief funding to the Foundation to Advance Islamic Teaching in Houston.
* Federal agencies and Congress supplied some of the money, including victim-services, family-violence, coronavirus-relief and nonprofit-security funds that Texas agencies passed through.
* A small portion represented returned unclaimed property, not discretionary grants.

So, politically, Abbott’s administration bears executive responsibility for grants issued through his office and agencies under his authority. HOWEVER, the available records do not establish that Abbott personally reviewed or selected each organization. Likewise, individual legislators generally voted for overall agency appropriations, not specifically to award “$13 million to islamist organizations.”

THEY USED/ABUSED OUR SYSTEM and over-site by our Government (both State & Federal) failed to look into these groups before releasing the money. Sound familiar? (Looking at you Dearborn)

The largest amount—over $11 million—was primarily an HHSC family-violence services contract, not funding appropriated for Islamic teaching or mosque construction. HHSC’s public contract list identifies the Texas Muslim Women’s Foundation alongside numerous other domestic-violence shelters receiving money through the same program. (Again, they used/abused our system)

They obtained the money by applying to government grant and service-contract programs. After agency employees determined that they met the program requirements, the agencies executed contracts or grant agreements and reimbursed them for approved expenses.

The primary approvals were:

* Texas HHSC: Approved the largest portion through its Family Violence Program. The Texas Muslim Women’s Foundation is listed under contract HHS000380000076, alongside numerous other domestic-violence shelters. This accounts for much of the reported $11 million. (This is rich considering islam is the #1 abusers of women.)
* Governor Greg Abbott’s Public Safety Office: Approved several victim-services, public-safety and apparently nonprofit-security grants through the state’s eGrants system.

- Journalist Nate Friedman attempt to enter a mosque, they’re threatened to be shot in the face with a gun

Let’s make the distinction perfectly clear:

Islam is an ideology, not a race. Muslims come from many races, nationalities, and ethnic backgrounds. Criticizing islamic doctrines or opposing any religious legal system that conflicts with the U.S. Constitution, openly teaches its members to overthrow the constitution and U.S. Government, is not an attack on someone’s race, it’s being a patriot protecting our Country.

We oppose any doctrine that wants to replace constitutional law, deny equal protection, restrict free speech, subordinate women, punish people for leaving a religion, or place religious authority above the rights of American citizens.

The First Amendment protects our right to examine, question, criticize, and oppose ideologies and even religious ideas. We judge individuals by their conduct, not their ethnicity, but no belief system is immune from scrutiny.

Our position is constitutional, not racial: one nation, one Constitution, and one law.

We have even gone as far as to say “the federal government must reject any attempt to place islamic law, or any religious law, above the United States Constitution. Religious freedom must never be interpreted as permission to violate U.S. laws or another person’s constitutional rights. Right now you have terrorist trying to hide behind Americas Constitutional Rights and laws, and describe itself as a religion. If you read the quran, listen to the imams proclaiming war against Americans/unbelievers, teaching ways to circumvent and overthrow the U.S. Government, you will see this is a terrorist cult, and not a religion.”

You can scroll through our feed and you will see NOT ONCE HAVE WE used a racial slur, attacked someone because of their race, nor suggested that any Texan breaks Texas or U.S. laws.
