That’s this years bunker project wrapped up at Pannal for this year. Also despite the weather this week we managed to finish the fairway drainage @GolfLS18 the Shelton multi hopper doing a great job as usual

Great to have @cc_golfscapes in with us this week carrying out some drainage work on the 4th approach and green surround. We’ve installed 620m of drainage which should take make this area considerably drier during winter. @GolfLS18

The recent warm weather has been much appreciated, however soil temperatures have yet to rise a great deal! 🥶

7.8 degrees was about as good as it got today when carrying out some readings 🌱

Plenty more warmth required to help the plant growth!! ☀️

Great to see our newly installed drainage working a treat yesterday after the snow and heavy rain. These two greens would have been underwater and saturated for days. They are now two of the driest greens on the course. Great job by all involved. @GolfLS18 @cc_golfscapes

Yesterday was an incredibly tough day as we said goodbye to our Deputy Headgreenkeeper Cameron Dale . His passion, dedication and courage was what made him so special.
Cameron will never be forgotten and his memory will live on forever.
He will be greatly missed

After yesterday’s torrential downpour our bunkers have performed exceptionally well. No standing water this morning, minimal wash downs and straight back into play today. Bunker Mat and China Clay proving to be a great investment

Productive day yesterday with the Air2G2 from @air2g2 @BA_LTD great service as always. Helping the greens breathe after a horrendously wet winter! Followed with our Procore and a hand mow. Greens looking resplendent in the sunshine ☀️ shame the rain has returned today @GolfLS18

A nice day yesterday getting some feed on the greens. Great colour throughout this winter. Some disease scaring which will grow out.Overall not looking bad for February apart from the rain! 🌧️☔️ Surrounds and tees getting a cut also this week. @GolfLS18

This time of year is great for staff training and development! This morning Chris has been showing Dan the best ways of changing holes in these wet conditions. Dan joined us last year and is experiencing his first winter. As a team we are always learning from each other @GolfLS18

With the wet weather this week we decided to tackle a long overdue project of the overgrown bushes behind the 16th green and 17th tee. 🌳

While the weather has once again turned wet we’ve been focusing our attention on an overgrown area by the 9th tee - clearing out deadwood and improving light and airflow around the tee complex ☀️💨A break for the team today as we head to #BTME2024 @GolfLS18 🚜⛳️
