We have corrupt judges. Dirty magistrates. That's a fact. Ruto, and Rigathi, and at least half of his cabinet are in office because they were able to compromise judicial officers to acquit them, and their friends. The current Attorney General Justin Muturi was once a magistrate who was arrested for allegedly receiving a Sh1 million bribe in 1997. If our judiciary was squeaky clean, half of the loudmouths in UDA would be in jail. However, just because Ruto and his people have had their way in the past with corrupt judges doesn't give him any power to undermine or discredit the entire judiciary. In the cabinet meetings he chairs he has people who were once charged with murder, rape, corruption, and all manner of vile crimes and got away because they paid off the prosecution and the judiciary.
The President has enough personnel at the National Intelligence Service (NIS), Directorate of Criminal Investigations(DCI), and Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission (EACC) who can be mandated to gather evidence to prosecute corrupt judges. Discrediting the entire judiciary is a weak punch. Last year he blamed the opposition for the failings in his government, he has now started blaming the judiciary, and soon he will blame the voters who elected him for giving him a job that he is unable to do. You can’t hire incompetent sycophants and get extraordinary results. Half of Ruto’s cabinet are operating beyond their depth. Ruto is supposedly the brightest of them all, and just because he is a calculating politician doesn’t make him a good leader. Bullying, coercion, threats and intimidation are not leadership qualities, it’s goon behaviour. Ruto should resist sounding like his former boss who did the same while he carelessly borrowed, and left Kenyamore corruption, and in deep debts.
Unfortunately, the Judicial Service Commission have corrupt members who protect corrupt judges and magistrates. I know of complaints from lawyers, and court users that are gathering dust at JSC. Some JSC staff, and the commissioners, will leak evidence submitted to them to the person being investigated. The JSC needs to take its role seriously and deliver on the mandate the constitution bestows upon them. Judicial reform is important but Ruto must desist from attacking the entire judiciary. He should name those in the judiciary he bribes, or bribed in the past instead of demonizing the entire institution. For a president who is shouting about integrity, it's nauseating to see him associating with known criminals. People who are facing active criminal charges for money laundering, land grabbing and even worse Obado who is in court for Sharon and her unborn baby's murder. Sharon was stabbed in the neck, back and abdomen. Her unborn son was stabbed through the spine and the knife exited through the stomach. A president who has some sense of self-respect should choose his company wisely.
The judiciary needs reform but this isn’t the way to go about it Mr President. Additionally, the Law Society of Kenya should actively investigate corruption allegations among its members. If any lawyer has conned you, email me at sema (@) https://t.co/m5nXFOwygZ
Let’s expose dirty lawyers too, it’s some of them who end up as dirty magistrates and judges. #SemaUkweli #TeamCourage
For us at Greenthumbs, it means sustainable fish farming and enhanced livelihoods for our farmers. Our farmers will be able to produce more fish, vegetables and at the best qualities using this information and knowledge. Thanks to @INCiTiSFOOD@INCiTiS_Egerton@ZHAW
Learning about simple aquaponics systems was one of the most interesting and challenging aspects of the past 2 weeks. Making sure they work, are reproducible and are economically viable is the next step and the main goal of the Living Labs, @ZHAW and @INCiTiSFOOD
I don't think we need 50 acres for this software factory. At most 1 acre for the software seedlings, another half for drying the newly coded software in the sun, and no more than a quarter acre to set up a packaging and storage warehouse.

Come, let us learn and share the best regenerative practices in our food systems.
Storage technologies and reverse logistics are fundamental for agroprocessors if they are to provide safe food. They are essential for elimination of contaminants and reducing harm from reaching the consumers.
Final Stop: Hotsprings Fish Farmers of Elementaita. These farmers not only keep fish but they are also conserving the local hot spring. They are also experimenting with different initiatives to reduce the levels of flouride in the water.
Stop 6: Green Community. The (mostly) women of GreenCom are preparing organic fertiliser, insecticide, folia and other inputs for the commercial market. They shared their vision and plans with us.
