Our River Alpine cabin perched above the pumphouse/laundry facility on the east side of the Red Setter grounds. Alpine is 1 of 2 'studio' cabins (Haven is the other) on property. Both cabins sleep up to 4 people, are dog-friendly and popular with couples & small families.

The Little Colorado rises as two forks in the White Mountains. The West Fork starts on the north flank of Mount Baldy at an elevation of nearly 10,000 ft, while the East Fork starts nearby. The forks meet in a canyon near Greer, forming the main Little Colorado River.

Exterior view of our River Tranquility cabin. The Red Setter originally operated as a bed & breakfast. This 2 bed/2 bath cabin served as the owners' home. We've made some updates to it over time, including this deck that served as the stage for the music fest we put on in 2014.

The Red Setter ore car was purchased from a dealer in Tucson. It is representative of cars that used to haul ore out of underground mines in AZ. The lettering is by Gerardo Leyva of Zee’s Minerals of Tucson. The rocks are all copper bearing minerals from the Morenci Mine (AZ).
