My very first decision as the party nominee in 2020 was to pick Kamala Harris as my Vice President. And it’s been the best decision I’ve made. Tbh I think Biden dropping out of the race is better now than something like 6 months ago. There are legitimate upsides to scrambling the Trump campaign strategy + less time to negatively define Kamala - all while Biden basks in positive press from “putting the country first.”
