@connal_AVFC AV and EFC both grand old clubs. But you have won 1 league since WWI--we have 7 since then, 9 total. We won a Euro trophy in 1985 and would have won more but for the Heysel ban. We have been in top flight longer than everyone, 11 more than you--only 4 years out since 1888.

@HLTCO Before Ndiaye arrived, he was our best attacking player under Dyche, with very sweet left foot and fair end product. But confidence is very fragile, especially since injury in late 2024, which caused him to miss the revival under Moyes. Glasner will need to make him feel valued.

@NilSatisNews Whatever his personal flaws, BK saved our club. He freed us from small-time local chancer Peter Johnson when the club was an utter shambles in the late 90s. We then had by far our most successful period in PL from 2005 to 2016, when BK was chairman-owner, finishing 7th on average

@Everton I would suggest he is Everton's greatest manager. He dragged us out of post-war mediocrity, built two great title-winning teams, and kept us elite for a decade. HK was great too of course. But his window of elite success was far shorter.

They gave him a safe house away from any media storm and continued to pay him till the end of his contract while he was under investigation, despite getting nothing in return. He put the club in a very difficult position, but they supported him.

If Dyche, unlike Rafa and Frank, plays him in his more natural advanced role in a midfield 3, he could give us at least a good alternative option off the bench.
