@mikealfred Yeah, don't look at the market now... so much for a strong July. IREN & CIFR down like 50% from ATH. You might have to take an economy flight home! π€£
@mikealfred I Just got off a call with my contact at Jane Street... the guy who programs the slam algo for CIFR and IREN... he doesn't have the day off... he's working overtime today. So much for a strong start to July. π€£
@mikealfred The only thing I'm sorry about is not discovering you a few year ago... I'd be retired by now! Should see a big bump up in my account tomorrow morning tho! THANK YOU! π
@mikealfred π€£ 100%! In fact, this is true of many assets. I kept getting frustrated seeing markets move in irrational ways and then realized, if I want to predict market moves I have to ask myself, "If I were a total F'ing idiot, what would I do?" And often, that's what ends up happening.
@mikealfred Never had HOOD, Sold all my PLTR at the top :-), Sold most of my HIMS at the top, only a small position left I've been trying to unload (was hoping for a little pop before the fall but seems unlikely now). And loading up on IREN... I'm learning! :-)
@mikealfred Thanks for reminding me what side of the K-Shaped economy I belong on. I'll get back down on the lower leg and start moping the floors while you enjoy your $4k bottle of wine!
@jindal_gautam@mikealfred Because most "investors" have no idea what they are investing in. Smart investors that actually understand the fundamentals of the company buy these dips. I picked up another 100 shares of $IREN this afternoon.
@mikealfred Am I crazy, or did I see a post recently about you buying 29,000 shares of AMPX? Did you take the post down? Sell the shares? Just curious if your thoughts changed.
Love following you on X and hearing your perspective on things. It's been very helpful. Thanks!
@MarketMovesMatt I'm assuming that means you don't think gold will go much lower from here? I'm in on ABNB, AMZN, PYPL & UBER. Only 2 contracts each right now. Going to try and add some AMZN today... looks like it's down a bit pre-market.
