@kellyinvegas@CryptonicCarl@chiefschicktx @BrianDornbush Or, you know, we could look at what the adults in KC were doing at that time, which was buying all the tickets during the 18 year sellout streak from 1991-2009. Gtfo with your bandwagon chatter, you're guilty as well.
Ironic. I've been told all season long from Bills fans that the Chiefs aren't any good because they didn't score more than 30 in a game. #ChiefsKingdom#BUFvsKC
@tudhope_jim@Chiefs Read it again.
Had the Texans blocked that punt for a TD and converted for 2, they would have had an opportunity to attempt an onside kick down 3 with about :13-:10 left. The safety completely eliminated that (slim) possibility. And, yes, a whole 13 seconds. Ask Bills fans.
@tudhope_jim@Chiefs Extremely unlikely? Absolutely. Impossible? Not at all.
Keep in mind, this is entirely based on a hypothetical blocked punt for a TD at the :15 mark, but there's a huge difference between being down 2 scores with :11 left vs. being down 3 with :13 seconds left.
@SleeperHQ I love when sports betting sites don't do their homework to know that Missouri just legalized sports betting. Great business model to jump on conspiracy theories like this.
@tudhope_jim@Chiefs Cry about it.
The safety took enough time off the clock to make a slim possibility for the Texans to win/tie mathmatically impossible.
@hammondegger304@Chiefs@HoustonTexans The @Chiefs don't give 2 shits about your parlay, they care about winning playoff games. Tomlin should take notes.
The safety eliminated the slim possibility of a Texans win/tie via blocked punt/onside kick.
@Wreckedem0@THESagerbomb@stoolgambling That is also a possibility, but again, the time taken off the clock with running around, including adding the time for a scramble to recover the ball would have burnt even more time. It was smart ball regardless.
@Wreckedem0@THESagerbomb@stoolgambling Leaving nothing to chance.
If the punt was blocked for a TD or ran back for a TD +2pt conversion, there would have been enough time left over for an onside kick/recovery and only needing 3 to send it to OT. Burning that extra 5ish seconds & kickoff vs punt put it out of reach.
