I urge the national government to urgently resolve the ongoing dispute with university lecturers and staff so that our students can return to class. Time lost in learning cannot be recovered, and the government should negotiate with the unions and address their outstanding concerns.
As we approach the elections, it is important to keep our young people engaged in productive and constructive spaces. We cannot afford to have thousands of students out of university; let us bring this disruption to an end and get our children back to the classroom.

Kiambu is ready. πͺ

π¨ Two fires reported at Kirwara High School on reopening day.
A school bus reportedly caught fire, while a toilet at the school was also said to have gone up in flames.
With two separate fires being reported on the same reopening day, questions are now being raised about what could have caused them.
Could it be an electrical fault, an accident, or something else? π

Today, we remember 27th August 2010, when Kenya gave itself a new constitution founded on hope, justice, and the promise of a better nation. Sixteen years later, the responsibility to protect, uphold, and defend the gains of our Constitution remains with all of us.
Let us continue to uphold the values and principles of our Constitution, safeguard the rights and freedoms of every Kenyan, and work together to build an inclusive, united, and prosperous nation.
