I cannot imagine not having PBS available. When I was a kid, we had two channels: AETN (as it was known at the time) and the local ABC affiliate. I grew up with Sesame Street, Electric Company, 321 Contact, Doctor Who, and more. (1/3)

The AP calls the Miami mayor's race for Democrat Eileen Higgins.
Higgins defeated a Trump-endorsed Republican — becoming the first Democrat in nearly three decades to win the office.

The AP called TN-07 for Matt Van Epps, the Republican nominee.
He is leading by 7.5% as the count winds down (98% reporting); his lead will inch up a tiny bit but roughly there. The GOP won the district by 22% in 2024.
JUST IN: Democrats have flipped the mayor's office in Roswell, Georgia, in tonight's runoff.
GOP Mayor Kurt Wilson conceded earlier tonight to Mary Robichaux, the Dem challenging him.
(This is a city in the Atlanta suburbs, the 9th most populous city in Georgia.)
