I just finished Moby Dick.

The Fountainhead by Ayn Rand.

Another individualists vs. collectivists book. Ayn really loves these love triangles where the woman gets to be polygamous. Another great one, but a bit more agro than Atlas Shrugged. The undying spirit of a radical individualist. I generally agree.

Atlas Shrugged by Ayn Rand.

Thinkers vs. Organizers (bad ones at that). Industrialists vs. Socialists. You can almost see where it's going, but not quite. A fun story that ends in the dark, but gives you a hope for a brighter future where ingenuity is encouraged, not demonized.

In a world that seemingly/somewhat runs on the opinions and attention of others, it is very hard to shut out the noise and pay attention to your own opinion of yourself. I've lost self-confidence because I don't hold my own opinion of myself in high regard.
