What do patients think about the fact that Patient Reported Outcomes are systematically collected in an outpatient physiotherapy clinic?
Pros and Cons? Do these views correlate with specific patient characteristics or results of PROMIS-29?
What a fantastic congress!
Such a great group of open minded, smart and humble people. It was pure pleasure to be there and connect with all these dedicated folks.
Thanks a lot to IFOMPT for inviting me to present this format.

There are still some spaces in my workshop at #IFOMPTBasel2024. Come along if you want to learn about exploring back pain stories, helping people to test and gather evidence, and helping people to make sense of their back pain in a way that supports participation in life.

many of the relevant diagnostioc accuracy papers are from my own groups research, but not all. The SIJ work has been replicated/validated partially, but the discogenic pain and facet joint pain has not. Not refuted either, but not replicated validated.

@BenD_NZ@svomp_board@IFOMPT@guchriste I was fortunate to attend a trial run of this workshop & would thoroughly recommend it to any physio attending the IFOMPTBasel2024 conference. Really useful information to assist clinicians in learning to engage / connect with their patients!
@BenD_NZ@PhysioNZ A sad reflection of the current status within the private physio profession. It is potentially only going to worsen with the lack of funding from ACC & not keeping up with the pay scale of the public sector making the competitive market even tougher! Patients will be worse off!

In October 2023, the McKenzie Institute Czech Republic celebrated their 20th anniversary.

I received plenty of feedback since then. Now, I launched a 37 minute video.
How do people feel when they are told they have "hip degeneration" vs "hip osteoarthritis" vs "persistent pain"?

Great work @andipierobon pulling this together ๐๐๐
This is a living reference work, so we can update as new studies emerge.
