Good advice for teachers just starting out. Teachers are creative, ambitious problem solvers... and we often forget how to pace ourselves. "This is a marathon, not a sprint"... Onto week 8 and never more true. #virtuallearning#Homeschooling#onlinelearning
@jessnormhill Oh sorry! You meant in my screenshot! That's just a shot from Zoom! In the top right of the screen in the Zoom app, you can select speaker view or this view (I fidget what it's called).
"Social distancing does not mean social disconnection". Dr. Moran sets SSIS up for a day of virtual connection with our colleagues, parents and students during virtual learning. @ssischool#ssis#wearessis#virtuallearning#COVID2019#hcmc
@jessnormhill Hey Jess, for some reason twitter doesn't work for me these days unless I'm on 4g but back in the day when Twitter used to work on wifi, I used to use Tweetdeck: https://t.co/fMLatM6EpN
This woman inspires me every day. Infectious energy, endless ideas, daring with her teaching, and an advocate for every one of her students and colleagues. I'm so grateful to have her on my team. You rock @cecigomez_g!
Today our team toyed w AR, shared a picnic, collaborated on the design of our new space & participated in a PE dance challenge🙌🏽 When I say I’m part of a team that ROCKS, it’s not an exaggeration - I’m one lucky educator to be surrounded by the likes of these people❤️ #wearessis
@angemolony For our younger learners we've tried to make our tasks active ones whenever possible. On our 100th day of school we had them go for a walk and collect 100 things, or do 100 of any action they chose. For social interaction, we've had good success getting silly on #flipgrid.
