I think most of us Europeans don't appreciate this enough:

Whenever we want, we can take the car, drive to Austria, Italy, or France, and stay as long as we wish...

We can hop on a train to Paris by night to have a coffee with Eiffel tower views in the morning...

We can take a €12 plane to Milan and enjoy an Italian pasta on a random Saturday...

As much as my brain says Europe is lost - we HAVE to keep fighting for our beautiful continent...

I’ve lived in a very rural part of Tanzania for 2,5 months and have eaten many meals in people’s homes. Both in the city (Mwanza) and in the local small villages. Washing hands before food basically never consisted of more than just rinsing hands, and the couple times they did use soap nobody washed their hands to the point they were as clean as a fork would have been. I agree, the issue is definitely also sanitation and water quality, and these people have stronger immune systems than people in the west do, but the way they eat with their hands is objectively less clean than with utensils.

Het onderzoek van OLAF concludeerde dat RARS EU-regels schond op transparantie, mededinging, gelijke behandeling en financieel beheer door niet-concurrentiegerichte contracten, overprijzing tot 40%, voorschotten zonder garanties en aanvankelijke non-coöperatie. Geen bewijs wijst op betrokkenheid van Oekraïne; problemen speelden aan Poolse kant vóór levering, waarbij generatoren naar Poolse kiesdistricten werden omgeleid.
