“He was in a band called Rage Against the Machine”
Overheard, from father to son, filing out of Springsteen’s DC show. Referring to a band formed ~20 years after the E Street Band + 35 years from right now.
Amazing legacies @springsteen@tmorello thanks for a great show in DC

@TommyWells Not really - 28% of Ward 8 residents chose TW, but 72% of them chose someone else. He wouldn’t stand a chance at reelection now that DC has moved to Ranked Choice Voting
Shout-out to William Doffermyre, Solicitor of the Department of the Interior, who is the person primarily responsible for pushing the National Links Trust out of its management of East Potomac Golf Course, and for scuttling a planned Tom Doak restoration in favor of an absolutely ridiculous Tom Fazio blow-up that will result in D.C. golf becoming less affordable and accessible.
Doffermyre is allegedly very interested in becoming a big muckety-muck in the golf world. Good luck with that, Bill!
No David Lee Roth, no singer at all! Just Eddie Van Halen performing “Panama” with Paul Shaffer & the David Letterman Band, June 1985
Eddie’s wife Valerie Bertinelli was a guest & Eddie stepped up! More!
RIP, legend!🎸🤘
Now is a better time to remind the good people of TX that the racist remnants of the Dixie-crats among TX Dems in the 70s evolved into today's TX Rs. In the 2020s Dems call out & condemn racism within our party. Rs accept & enable racists to cravenly cling to & abuse power.
