@jamie_bagan@rkrager8 I would like to recognize how much of a professional Lucy has been even in games she hasn’t played. I know she wants to be out there, but you wouldn’t know it from seeing her on the bench, smiling and cheering on her teammates, just as she would want them to do for her.
@Zstatman@rkrager8 That’s on the old terms. $277,500 is the new minimum for 1-3 year players. And you lock in all of that if you are on the roster through July 13, 2026.
@Slugger0722@Jomboy_ Pretty sure they nailed it. I compare their huddling to video review. You’re getting more feedback on the play. The ump has to be super focused on the ball and the timing of the tag. Eyes and brain can’t process everything. Similar to basketball where refs huddle and overturn.
Always nice to tune in to @jodymacman, especially on the drive home from @PGAChampionship hearing about Jody’s tournament experience and overall assessment. Thanks Mac Man! Keep the golf talk going @SportsRadioWIP.

@TalkinBaseball_ I somewhat side with the ump here. Not an egregious call.
1.) We don’t have an angle like with a pylon cam in an NFL end zone to see if any part of the ball is positioned over the line.
2.) The player’s hand seemed to be partly obscuring the ump’s eyes, in terms of ball vs line.
